Itinerary
Day 1| Srinagar arrival and local sightseeing
Arrival at Srinagar Airport, My Representor will pick you to and drive to day lake to take a ride to Shikara on the lake Its one of the most peaceful & relaxing aspects in Kashmir. Later visit Nishat Bagh or the Abode of pleasure, also visit the delightful Shalimar Bagh or the Abode of love. This gardens situated on the bank of Dal Lake, have the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Later you can also visit the carpet-weaving factory on the way. Enjoy the dinner and spend the night in the Houseboat.
Day 2| Srinagar- Pahalgam (100 km approx.)
After Breakfast, Drive to Pahalgam. Enroute visit Avantipora ruins and Saffron Fields. Further visit Martand Temple (the temple dedicated to Sun God).
Pahalgam is positioned beside the Lidder River, in the Lidder valley. Reach there and check in at the hotel. After rest, proceed for sightseeing of Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Both the sights offer scenic delight to your senses with an indelible impression. While returning, visit Gauri Shankar Temple surrounded by beautiful scenery. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3| Pahalgam- Srinagar via Langabal (100 km approx.)
After breakfast, Drive to Srinagar via Langabal. On the way we can see the plantations of Apple and Walnut (the fruit ripens in Oct only). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 4| Srinagar- Sonamarg – Srinagar (90 km approx.)
After breakfast we drive to Sonamarg-the meadows of gold enroute. Sonamarg valley is inhabited along Sindh River surrounded by snow peaked mountains and glacier Thajiwas. Drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5| Srinagar- Gulmarg - Srinagar (About 64 km approx.)
After breakfast excursion to Gulmarg, it is also famous for world longest cable car. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as (Gondola). Later visit Shankaracharya Temple & A local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewelry ornaments. Later drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 6| Drop at airport
Drop you at airport for your onward journey.
